Born June,19,1951

He was driving,on his way to work, and had a massive, heart attack, the car swerved into the oncoming lane and hit another vehicle, head on.
He was transported to the hospital, and the doctors said, that they did everything possable to save hin.
And they also, said that they were sure, they could have saved him from the heart arttack, but he had massive head injuries, and that is why they couldn’t save him.
I have been thinking of him a lot here lately.
And I have a story I woukd like to share.
We always, called him Jr.and one time him and another one of our brothers,Darrell, were out ginsing, hunting,it is a root that grows wild in the woods, and if you find it,and dig it up and let it dry,you can sell it for up tp I think about twelve hundred dollars a pound,
Anyways, they were out searching for it,and were carrying big long screwdrivers they used to dig it up with.
While they were tramping around in the woods,Jr told me he got into a big yellow jacket nest, and the bees got mad and started swarming him,and my brother Darrell, ran up trying to get the bees off him,and started hitting Jr with that big screwdriver.
Jr. told me he got stung over a hundred times, and they finally, got all the bees off.And Darrell, got him to the doctor, and got him cared for. They had to give him three shots of something, not sure what it was. Some kind of venom vaccine.
I saw Jr,a short time after that and I asked him how he was doing!
And he replied,i’m doing great from all those bee, stings.
But I don’t think I will ever get over Darrell, beating me with that damn, screw driver! Lol

  1. Wow what memory. I am sorry for your loss.
We just watched a she on tv the other night where people were digging ginseng for a living.
There was quite a competition to keep each other off of the others land.
They called it poaching and that is what they call hunting deer out of season here.
It was a really interesting show.
    Have a good week end.
